A short term Spanish language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their Spanish language learning from scratch with an immersion course in Spanish. The core language course of 20 lessons per week can be supplemented by additional classes which emphasis oral communication skills in additional group classes.

This long term Spanish language course (ideally suited to meet the needs of Gap Year students) allows students to gain in depth knowledge of both the Spanish language and Spanish culture over a full academic year - a two term course of intensive language study, which includes the opportunity to prepare for and sit the DELE Intermedio exam, (DELE exam fees at additional cost) and takes beginners in the Spanish language through to intermediate/advanced levels. In Term II the language lessons are offered in combination with cultural studies; History, Art Literature, Geography, Social and Political Institutions in Spain to provide a fully rounded knowledge of modern day Spain's cultural context. Those who complete the full course are awarded a College Diploma, certifying their achieved language level.
Students are welcome to enrol for just the first or second term, depending on language level, if they cannot find time to follow the full Academic Year course.
Spanish & Fun Teenager Course
2, 4 or 6 weeks language course duration

A very popular Spanish & Fun Teenager Course (early reservations recommended). Lessons are always held in the afternoon and a full activity programme is offered each week. Morning activities include a cultural trip into Malaga, cookery lessons, sports events (volleyball on the beach, table tennis tournaments or horse riding) and local boat trips. Additionally the college arranges a party and a full day Saturday excursion every two weeks. Students on this course also enjoy relaxing by the college pool, sun bathing on the local beaches and the shared camaraderie of the programme with other young students. Summer course students can choose to stay in the college residence or with local hosts, but either way are sure to find plenty to do, including homework, of course, out of class!
Spanish Over 50s Course
2 or 4 weeks language course duration

Aimed at those older students who wish to study with their peers whilst concentrating on developing their communication skills and enjoying a varied social activity programme. Courses are aimed at three abilities; beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Beginners concentrate on highly practical situations whilst more advanced students will discuss aspects of Spanish life, society, culture and politics. Activities may include shopping in the central market, a cookery or Sevillana dance class, lunch with a teacher, a visit to the Alcazaba (castle) and the Cathedral or a trip to the botanical gardens. There will also be a full day Saturday excursion i.e to Granada.
Spanish & Dance Course

Combine your Standard language course with two dance classes a day, Monday to Friday. Dance classes are held in the on site dance studio (air conditioned) with professional Sevillansa or Salsa dance teachers. A full fortnight is spent studying one of these dances. NB: If there are 3 or less students enrolled on a particular start date (unlikely but possible) dance lessons will be reduced accordingly.
Dance shoes not provided.
Spanish & Cookery Course

Combine your Standard language course with a chance for some hands on exploration of Andalucian/Mediterranean cuisine. Four cookery sessions over a fortnight, allow students to create, with guidance, 4 different, typically Spanish menus followed by dinner, whereby students eat that which they prepared! In addition there are two cultural talks on a food/wine related topic each fortnight, one local visit to a place of gastronomic interest and a fabulous farewell lunch.
Spanish Work Experience Programme

If you already have good Spanish (or are prepared to spend 16 weeks+ in Malaga studying the language) why not combine your language studies with some work experience in Seville. Students work in clerical, administrative or retail/tourism related fields (non-salaried) and have to pay for their accommodation.

Spanish for Business Course

A very fast moving and demanding short term course aimed exclusively at business people. The course divides into two levels.
Level One: For intermediate 2+ students; dealing with personal introductions, product presentations, describing your company, participating in meetings (taking notes, making interruptions, giving your opinion) and social situations.
Level Two: For Advanced level students; Spanish for Human resources, Trade fairs and conferences, Buying and selling, Market research and Analysis of a new product.
Spanish for Tourism Course

Specifically aimed at those who work (or wish to work) in the travel industry - flight attendants or ground staff, receptionists and reservation staff. General Spanish skills are covered during the Standard course and Spanish for tourism is dealt with in the additional classes, where students develop and practise the vocabulary and phrases appropriate to the needs of the travel industry.

An extremely intensive Spanish language course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum language progress over a one or two+ week period. Aimed at business people or those who need to work on their Spanish for academic or professional reasons, for whom time is of the essence.
