The materials for study are decided based on your interests and Japanese level. The college keep a large library of Japanese manga and anime for different levels of learners, and are constantly adding more items as our students request them.

So if you're a beginner, please take a look at the alternative Japanese courses offered in Fukuoka.  If you're not sure, take a look at the levels offered, to gauge your ability.

Also, this course is also not available in July and August, the busiest season. During these months, the college offers pop culture excursions instead, that you can sign up for as part of the Japanese & Activities course. Examples of activities offered include going to a baseball game, visiting a manga school, eating at a maid cafe, wearing anime costumes, etc.
