Learn Italian in Rome

Accommodation in Rome

Accommodation in Rome always involves a commute, generally we advise students to expect a journey of between 20/40 mins to the college.  Students can choose to stay with local Italian hosts or in apartments, sharing with other students.

Private households: Stay with local Italian hosts, single room, self catering or half-board (breakfast & evening meal). Shared rooms or B&B also available on request.  A great opportunity to learn Italian out of class, to enhance your Italian language studies at the college.

Shared apartments: Offered to students aged 18yrs+ only.  Expect simple accommodation, clean but functional.  Offered on a single room, self-catering basis.  Students have communal use of the bathroom and kitchen.  Bed linen (but not towels), electricity and gas bills are already included.

Both options are also offered at a higher cost to those who wish to secure accommodation closer to the college (the Standard Plus accommodation rate then applies). So if you want to live in Rome and study Italian but keep your commute to a minimum, the Standard Plus accommodation is the perfect solution.  It is very popular, so early reservations are essential, particularly for the summer months.

Travel

Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday PM

We recommend students fly to Rome's Fiumicino airport or take the train (Eurostar) to Rome. You can then take a taxi to your accommodation. You are welcome to book a transfer service at additional cost from Rome's airport to your Italian accommodation, but we recommend you book this when your enrol.
