A short term Italian course to develop active communication; both oral and written with reference to professional situations. An intermediate+ Italian level is required. Ideal for those who need to prefect their Italian for business reasons. Offered as a stand alone course OR in-conjunction with a Standard or Private Tuition course.
Italian & Culture Course

plus 4 culturally orientated lessons per week

In addition the Standard Italian language course students are able to explore various topics drawn from different aspects of the history and culture of Italy; the language and its dialects, the pre and post war political system, society today, classical and/or popular music, famous Italians of yesterday or today, the North/South conflict and the Mafia.
Italian Over 50 Course
2 weeks language course duration

plus either Art History or Cookery orientated additional sessions

Aimed exclusively at at older students, who already have elementary plus Italian and who prefer to study with their peers:-
Art History and Italian: Combines 15 language lessons per week with 3 lectures on Renaissance Art and History and 3 guided visits viewing Renaissance monuments and museums (February & November).
Cookery and Italian: Combines 15 language lessons per week with 2 lectures on Tuscan Cooking or Wines and 2 visits to a famous food market and wine or oil cellar and a full day excursion to the Chianti region and a farewell dinner in a typical Florentine Trattoria(May and October).
Italian Private Tuition Course
1 week+ language course duration
Open to 17+ age group throughout the year
15, 20, 25 or 30 private lessons per week
An extremely intensive Italian course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum language progress over a one or two+ week period. Aimed at business people or those who need to work on their Italian for academic or professional reasons, for whom time is of the essence.
Italian Cookery Course
One cookery session per week
Max. 12 people per class
Enjoy a 3 hour cookery session and learn the tricks of fabulous pasta and a range of other Italian dishes, with other students from the college.
Methodology
The college’s key concern is to get you to speak!
