German Language Courses offered
German & Ski Instructors Course
12 weeks language course duration
Open to 18+ age group
Runs from September to December, each year: One start date ONLY
8 week language course / 20 group lessons per week
Max. 6 people per class
8 weekends of skiing/snow boarding on the glacier
a one week trip (Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich)
2 weeks final preparation for the ski/snowboard instructors exam
Ski lift passes and exam fees included

Aimed at students who want to develop their German skills AND at the same time prepare for the Ski Instructors exam in December (applicable to skiers and snow boarders). Ideally you should have prior skiing experience and if possible, prior knowledge of the German language (though the latter is not essential). This course is a particular favourite with Gappers - and adults looking for a change of direction - who wish to get their Ski Instructors qualification prior to the Ski season in the New Year. Past students have always been able to work in Austria for the following season, so the chances of gaining employment immediately after the course are high.
German Standard Course

A short term German language course aimed at those who wish to build on current skills, in a small college environment, blending their German language learning with a chance to ski, snowboard, or hike in the mountains, depending on the season.
German Over 50 Course
2 weeks language course duration
Open to 50yrs + age group in June and September each year
20 group lessons per week
plus 2 informal evening sessions per week
Max. 6 people per group class
A short German language course aimed at adults, over 50 years of age, who wish to study with their peers in an informal environment and enjoy the social programme offered (includes a full day trip, guided tours and half day trips).
German Private Tuition Course
1 week+ language course duration
Open to 16+ age group throughout the year
10, 20 or 30 private lessons per week
An intensive German language course , ideal for those who wish to make maximum language progress over a one or two week period. Aimed at adults with specific German language needs.
Methodology
The college’s key concern is to get you to speak!
