French classes cover the topics of the cultural activities in the afternoon. Linguistic development is encouraged with the help of plays, debates and document based work. The course provides a highly practical approach to the language and is fabulous for developing self-confidence in communication and comprehension. A short French language course aimed at adults, over 50 years of age, who wish to study with their peers in an informal atmosphere and enjoy the social programme offered (includes a full day trip to spectacular waterfalls, and half-day trips to a lcoal distillery and a sugar factory. There is also a Creole cookery session and two lectures on Guadeloupian culture, ecology etc).
