Spanish Language Exams

The DELE’s (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) are the accreditation of the degree of fluency of the Spanish Language, issued and received by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Spain. 

The Instituto Cervantes is the institution in charge or organising the exams whilst the University of Salamanca is in charge of the preparation, correction and final evaluation of all the tests. 

There are three options depending on your language level, the Inicial, Basico and Superior DELE exams.

The DELE Exams are held in May, August & November each year.

                        
   

 

The Spanish language colleges can assist you prepare for a full range of Spanish language exams.

You must have sufficient Spanish knowledge to attend a short course or be prepared to commit several months to your studies in order to reach the necessary standard to sit any of these exams.
