In addition to the Spanish language lessons the classes concentrate on specific studies as follows: Spanish Art - exploring the Roman, Moorish, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque influences and important Spanish masters; Goya, Velazquez, Picasso, Miro and Dali.

In addition to the Spanish language lessons the classes concentrate on the foremost authors of Spanish literature. Both Latin American and Spanish literature are examined - the Golden Age, Romanticism, Generation of 1927, the Contemporary Novel, Cervantes, Lorca, Cela, Garcia Marquesz, Isabel Allende, Borges & Carlos Fuentes. Exact programme topics vary from month to month.
Spanish Over 50 Course
2 or 4 weeks course duration
Open to 50 yrs + age group
20 group language lessons per week
plus 5 optional cultural lessons per week

Aimed at those older students who prefer to study the Spanish language with their peers, whilst learning about Spanish art and culture. A variety of trips and excursions are offered, as are special flamenco and cookery classes. NB: Should there be insufficient students to form a group, classes will be merged with normal Standard programmes.
Spanish Private Tuition Course
1 week+ course duration
Open to 16+ age group throughout the year
5, 10 or 20 private lessons per week
An extremely intensive programme, ideal for those who wish to make maximum Spanish language progress over a one or two+ week period. Aimed at business people or those who need to work on their Spanish for academic or professional reasons, for whom time is of the essence.
