Spanish College Description
Founded in 1998 the school is located in an 18th century building just 5 minutes from the Playa Mayor. The building has good facilities, there are 30 classrooms, (but during the busiest summer months this can be expanded to 60 classrooms). There is a large conference room, a staff room, lecture room, a computer room, lounge area, a beautiful Renaissance central patio, spacious halls, sports facilities (including a football field and basketball court) & a gorgeous patio-garden. The busiest study periods of the year occur during the summer months. The college teachers are all native speakers of Spanish, with University degrees, who specialise in teaching Spanish as a second language.

Social Activities in Salamanca
All students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Salamanca by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the college.
Examples of the cultural visits and excursions offered by the college are visits to Madrid and Portugal, La Plaza Mayor, La Casa de las Conchas, Cuidad Rodrigo, Toledo, Burgos and its Cathedral and tours of ancient castles, plus much, much more….
Activities outside of the College:
In Salamanca everyone enjoys a very active social life. People go out for dinner, watch a movie, go to the theatre or sit and watch the world go by in a café on the playa mayor.. Salamanca offers a great variety of restaurants, movie theatres, exhibitions, concerts for inspiration throughout the year. If you want to know what is going on in Salamanca, you can read the different local and regional papers.
Salamanca is full of good places to go for a night out. As a student you can take advantage of lots of cheap drinks, parties and special promotional nights at certain places. The places to go are: Iguana, Paniagua, Chao and Rivendel. During the summer months there are hundreds of foreign visitors, who tend to like to go out every night. They frequently visit places like Camelot, Puerto de Chus, Submarino, Moderno and El Sol.
