Learn Spanish in Salamanca
Salamanca is a vibrant and lively University Town. Half its population are students which makes it an appealing destination for Spanish Gap Year students. The Spanish language school also offers a modern University Residence not far from the Plaza Mayor, the social centre of Salamanca which also appeals to our younger students.
The Spanish language school in Salamanca is a favourite amongst our adult students wanting to learn Spanish too. There is an abundance of history and culture in Salamanca. Its streets lined with beautiful sandstone buildings, endless tapas bars, nice restaurants and shops make it a favourite location for a Spanish language course in Spain.
Spanish Language School
Founded in 1998 the Spanish Language school is located in the heart of the city, just 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor. The 18th Century building itself is a former convent and has a deep history. The main entrance impressively opens onto a beautiful cloister, the so-called "well yard." Whilst the school offers all the comforts and amenities of a modern school it is still able to retain breathtaking examples of Castillian architecture.
The Spanish language school has good facilities, there are 30 classrooms, (but during the busiest summer months this can be expanded to 60 classrooms). There is a staff room, lecture room, a computer area with free internet and spacious sporting areas. Students can relax after Spanish lessons in the lounge area or on the beautiful central patio. Wi-Fi can be found throughout the school.
The busiest study periods of the year occur during the summer months. The Spanish teachers are all native speakers of Spanish, with University degrees, who specialise in teaching Spanish as a second language.
The school also offers foreign language courses for Spaniards and arranges providing the perfect opportunity for foreign students to make Spanish friends and improve their language skills outside of the classroom.
