In addition to the Spanish language lessons the classes concentrate on specific studies as follows: Spanish Art - exploring the Roman, Moorish, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque influences and important Spanish masters; Goya, Velazquez, Picasso, Miro and Dali.

Spanish Language and Literature Course

In addition to the Spanish language lessons the classes concentrate on the foremost authors of Spanish literature. Both Latin American and Spanish literature are examined - the Golden Age, Romanticism, Generation of 1927, the Contemporary Novel, Cervantes, Lorca, Cela, Garcia Marquesz, Isabel Allende, Borges & Carlos Fuentes. Exact programme topics vary from month to month.

Business Spanish (for MCCI exams) Course

Specifically aimed at those who wish to prepare for the MCCI Business Spanish exams in Madrid. Specialised subjects proposed are drawn from the following; business companies, structure & financial management in Spain & Latin America, commercial relationships, banks, financial operations & EU financial institutions, marketing and advertising, international trade, the stock market, the tourism market, the Spanish labour market, tax legislation and Spain and the European Union.

Teacher Refresher Course

Spanish Language & Flamenco Course

In addition to the Spanish Standard language course, students study Flamenco with professional dance tutors in a nearby Flamenco school in the afternoons or evenings during the week. Previous dance knowledge an advantage, but not essential.

Spanish Private Tuition Course

5, 10 or 20 Spanish private lessons per week
An extremely intensive Spanish language course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum language progress over a one or two+ week period. Aimed at business people or those who need to work on their Spanish for academic or professional reasons, for whom time is of the essence.
