Accommodation
In Coronado, accommodation will generally be within walking distance, although some accommodation will involve a small commute. The average journey to the college is rarely more than 20 minutes, including a short bus journey. The college has inspected all the accommodation offered.
Private households: Single room (or shared rooms, if travelling with a friend), half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) and an arrival transfer. If you would prefer to live with a middle class urban family, please book an en suite room option.
Shared Apartments: Nicely furnished apartments, shared with other student, with own facilities, TV, kitchenette self-catering, approximately 1.5 to 4 km from the school.
Travel
Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday AM
Students choose to fly to San José’s Juan Santamaría International airport (e.g. via Newark with Continental airlines) and then if you are staying in private household accommodation you will be collected by your hosts (it takes up to 50 minutes to return to Coronado by car).
NB: If you are not staying with a host, you will need to take the bus or a taxi or book a college transfer (at extra cost).
