Japanese Language Courses offered

The college offers two group programme options described under methodology.

Long-term Courses:
 
Japanese Academic Terms
(Academic Term 23 and Student Visa)
23 group lessons per week
Language Course duration: 12, 24, 36, 48 + weeks
Max 15 people per class
An intensive and academic language course covering all aspects of the Japanese language, ideally suited to students needing in-depth knowledge prior to, during or post their University studies. Also suitable for JLPT preparation.

Japanese Academic Term Plus Course s
20 group lessons plus 2 or 4 Private lessons
Language Course duration: 12, 24, 36, 48 + weeks
Max 15 people per class
Build on the Academic Term Courses, with extra private tuition classes to address areas of language weakness or develop specific skills. Also suitable for JLPT preparation.

Short-term Courses:

Japanese Standard Course
23 group lessons per week
Language Course duration: 4 to 12 weeks
Max 15 people per class
The course is purely communication orientated, ideal for those who wish to study key grammar and conversation skills of the language, but don't require in-depth study.

Japanese Combined Course
23 group lessons plus 2 private tuition lessons per week
Language Course duration: 4 to 12 weeks
Max 15 people per class
A more intensive, short term Japanese language course option. Suitable for JLPT preparation.

Japanese Combined Plus Course
23 group lessons plus 5 private tuition classes per week
Language Course duration: 4 to 12 weeks
Max 15 people per class
The most intensive short term Japanese language course option available, combining the structure of the group lessons with the freedom of study only available during Japanese private lessons.  Suitable for JLPT preparation.

Japan Discovery Course
Visit different regions of Japan and explore famous landmarks with this guided group (mini bus based) course. Gain insights into hidden Japan, that would otherwise not be possible. Tour duration varies from 2 to 12 days and landmarks visited are chosen according to the season and duration of the tour.
This programme is only offered in-conjunction with a Japanese language programme.

Japanese Private Tuition Course
15, 25 or 30 lessons per week
Language Course duration: 1 week plus
Flexible and intensive, these courses allow maximum progress for students or business people with limited time for study. Prices quoted in the price list apply to morning based programmes, reductions are offered for afternoon based programmes.
