Social Activites in Rome
All students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Rome by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the college.
To enable students to take full advantage of all the Eternal City has to offer the school provides general information about cultural activities, local exhibitions, concerts, films etc available.
Each month the college makes special arrangements to enable students to gain the most from their stay in Rome, a dinner in a Roman restaurant for students and teachers, free guided History of Art visits each week, free Cinema Italiano and, once a month, concerts at the college.
In addition, every two to four weeks a full day excursion will be offered on a Saturday, to Naples or Pompei or Sperlonga etc. You will receive a college student card, which entitles you to reduction in various restaurants, book shops, cafes and gyms!
The college arranges a minimum of two activities per week. One Saturday a month, they offer a whole-day excursion out of Rome. For those who want to explore Rome's night life we recommend beginning the evening at Campo de'Fiori meeting young Romans and visitors over a glass of wine and moving on to the bars and nightclubs of Testaccio.
A sample of a Week's cultural programme:
Monday: Welcome cocktail drink with live music (once a month)
Tuesday: A dinner for students and teachers in one of the Old Town's Pizzerias.
Wednesday: Cinema Italiano arranged at the college.
Thursday: A guided walk discovering the art history of the area.
Friday: Free time.
Saturday: An excursion to Pomeii, Sperlonga etc (once a fortnight/month)
Sunday: Free time
