Learn German in Berlin
Accommodation in Berlin
German language students in Berlin can choose to stay right next to the college in the on campus studios, experience sharing daily life with German hosts, by staying in a private household or enjoy living an independent life style in a shared apartment with Berliners, in Berlin. Please be aware that as Berlin is a large city, unless you decide to stay in the on campus residence then you will have to expect a daily commute to college (approx 30+ mins each way).
Prices for all accommodation options are quoted
on the CESA Course Finder.
On campus Studios:
Just across the college's private grounds are the accommodation buildings, housing various studio apartments, solely for the use of the college students. Ideal for those who can't face a morning commute! You can book a studio on a breakfast only, half-board or full-board basis. The campus has a cafe and restaurant on site.
The studios are REALLY popular, so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment!
Studios have en suite bathrooms, kitchenette, phone and TV, bed linen and towels.
Shared rooms: You can book a shared room as a single person, and the school will match you with someone of the same gender.

Higher standard Studios:
Also on campus, offering the same facilities as above, with more spacious rooms and in-room internet access.
Brandenburger Apartments:
The college also offers 20 apartments @ Brandenburg Gate, each apartment with 2 bedrooms - bookable as single or shared double. Thus 2 to 4 students live together in one apartment, sharing bath and kitchen. All apartments are in one block.
The flats have a spectacular location: next to Brandenburg Gate. Distance to college: 25 minutes by metro, 10 minutes by bicycle. Direct metro line to the college. Just a couple of blocks from the Tiergarten.

We recommend students fly to one of Berlin's international airports or take the train (Eurostar) to Berlin. You can then take public transport, a taxi or (if you booked private household/host accomm 1/2 brd) the free transfer service to your accommodation.
Note : If you have booked private household/host accommodation (half-board) you are offered a free transfer service, or you are welcome to book a transfer service at additional cost if taking another accommodation option. Alternatively Berlin's public transport system is excellent and will make it easy for you to reach your accommodation at any time of the day or evening.
