Accommodation
Remember Paris is a large city and students must allow for a commute of approx. 20 to 40 mins+ to college each morning. Hosts are in short supply over the Summer, when Parisians leave for their holidays. Also, early reservations are essential for the residences, especially for the June/September period.
Private households: Can be booked on a single or shared room basis (shared room only available if staying with a friend) on a B&B or half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) with local hosts. Hosts live in apartments in the residential suburbs of Paris.
Residences 1 & 2: Both residences offer simple - single, shared or triple rooms (for friends booking together only) and facilities on both sites include a cafeteria, self-service restaurant and TV room, with good metro connections to the college and city centre. French as well as international students use the residences, they are not exclusive to the language college and become fully booked well in advance.
Residence 1 = 40 mins from the college by metro.
Residence 2 = 30 mins from the college by metro.
Summer Residence : Only open in July/August each year. Single or shared rooms, half-board. Very popular with older teenagers, as lessons are held on site and becomes fully booked each summer. Located in the south of Paris, within easy reach of the Aqua boulevard (swimming pool and water leisure centre). All rooms are simple, containing a bed, table, chair and small wardrobe and sink, per person. Communal showers, wc's on each floor. Bed linen provided. There is a cafeteria, self-service restaurant, TV area and student common room, large terraces and a fitness centre on site.
Long Term Residence : Operates year round. Approx 25 mins commute by public transport from college, there are 80, 20 sqm studios with TV, telephone, en-suite bathroom, wc, sofa-bed, kitchenette. In 19th arrondisement. One person/per studio. Minimal rental 5 wks duration. Electricity: Deposit of 20 Euros requirested on arrival + budget for monthly charge of approx 30 Euros. Credit card details required on arrival (against damages, security deposit).
Hotels: Local Hotels are an ideal solution for adults on short term programmes. Please specify dates and style of room required.

Travel direct to Paris by Eurostar or by plane (generally to Charles de Gaulle airport) You can then take the transfer service or alternatively a taxi or train/metro to your accommodation.
