Social Activities
Whatever the weather, or time of year, Paris provides students plenty of opportunities to fill their free time. The college arranges a variety of events, which alters according to the season of the year. Popular options include boat trips on the Seine, guided tours of the world famous museums of Paris, visits to such well known monuments as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe etc, excursions to famous places outside Paris, including the Loire valley, Mont St Michel, Chantilly, Fontainebleau and Versailles. A college guide accompanies you on all visits. Trips with a guide will incur a small fee (Louvre trip = 5.50Euro) however events organised in the school are free of charge. In addition however many students decide to discover the less well known activities themselves. Why not stroll along the banks of the Seine or sample Bertillon ice cream as sold on the Ile Saint-Louis? Alternatively, explore the Rodin Museum (home to The Kiss and many other of the sculptor’s works) or the Orsay Museum, (including many French Impressionist works) or simply take the time to explore the hidden corners of Paris that the average tourist never sees.
For those who want to explore Paris’ night life there is an enormous variety of events, night clubs, cinema, concerts, fabulous restaurants and bars etc to explore, in particular we recommend you try a boat trip on one of the “Bateaux Mouches”, this gives you a great view of the Paris monuments and bridges at night.
