Learn French in Paris College One

French College Description

The college was established in 1984 and is located near the Place Clichy, in the 9th district of Paris. It occupies all of an 18th century town house and is only 15 minutes stroll by foot from the Opera Garnier and Bvd Hausseman in the 9th district.

The college provides the perfect environment for those who require serious study for private tuition or in a small group setting. Situated on 3 floors, the college comprises of 12 classrooms for group and private lessons (there is an elevator). Students can relax in the common room or the college terrace between classes. They have access to email (with a phone card). There is also a library of French videos and CD-Rom's to help in self-study and a video room for student use.

At it's busiest during the warmer months of the year, students are well advised to book early for the Spring and Autumn programmes, and whilst the college is quieter in August (when the Parisians are away on holiday) accommodation can be harder to arrange so early bookings are recommended.

The staff are always on hand should you have any questions once on your course or need advice regarding activities available to you in Paris. The college requires all their teachers to have university degrees (minimum requirement is an MA) and extensive experience teaching French as a Foreign Language.
