Accommodation

Accommodation is offered in Hyeres. Allow between 10 and 30 minutes for the one way commute to college (on foot, by bike or car).
NB: The summer months are VERY popular, demand is high and prices for apartment accommodation go up accordingly! This doesn't affect host accommodation costs though.

Private households: Can be booked on a single or shared room basis (shared room only available if staying with a friend) on a half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) with local hosts. Will become very busy in July/August.

Privately rented apartments: Various apartments can be rented in Hyeres. A popular option with adult students and tourists alike, so early booking essential for summer months. Please ask for the current list.

Hotels: There are several very pleasant 2* & 3* Hotels in Hyeres. Ideal for adults on short term programmes. Please state the style or Hotel/room preferred.

Travel

Arrive: Saturday PM
Depart: Saturday PM

Travel direct to Hyeres from London's Stansted airport (STN) with Ryanair to Toulon/Hyeres airport (TLN) or by Euro star and on to Toulon, via Marseilles. Alternatively fly to Nice and take the train from Nice to Toulon, it's a great journey along the Rivieria coastline and comes highly recommended by the CESA staff. You can check out train times on the SNCF website (www.sncf.com). Your hosts will then collect you from Toulon station only if you have booked private household accommodation or alternatively take a taxi to reach your accommodation.
