Private household
Host based accommodation can be booked on a single or shared room basis (shared room only available if staying with a friend) on a half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) with local French hosts. The hosts in Hyeres are well known for their hospitality and the contact that they offer with French people (the chance to put your French into practise out of class) is a major plus point for past CESA students.
The French hosts are particularly welcoming to older adult language students, so please do consider this option as it will make a real difference to your French immersion and your over all course experience.  However they will become booked up in July/August - so early reservations are advised!

Travel

Arrive: Saturday PM
Depart: Saturday PM

Travel direct to Hyeres from London's Stansted airport (STN) with Ryanair to Toulon/Hyeres airport (TLN) or by Eurostar and onto Toulon, via Marseilles.
Alternatively fly to Nice and take the train from Nice to Toulon, it's a great journey along the Rivieria coastline and comes highly recommended by the CESA staff. You can check out train times on the SNCF website (www.sncf.com). Or once in Nice take the coach that brings you to Hyeres.
Your hosts will then collect you from Toulon station if you have booked private household (host) accommodation.  If you've booked a Hotel or Apartment you will need to take a taxi on arrival, to your accommodation.
