A range of long term French language courses ideal for Gap Year and post Uni students looking to study French in depth over two or more months for maximum impact and progress. Popular with students who wish to develop their French skills but prefer to live in a residential, campus environment.
French Standard Course
2 to 6 weeks language course duration

A short term French language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France.
French Intensive Course

As the French Standard course with 6 additional oral lessons per week, aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France.
French Intensive PLUS Course

As the French Standard course with 6 additional oral lessons and 4 additional written classes per week, aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France.
French DELF Course
4 or 8 weeks language course
Open to 16+ age group throughout the year
Good French language skills ESSENTIAL
Prepare for the DELF A exam by following a French Standard Course plus an additional 4 DELF preparation workshops each week. Prepare for the DELF B exams by following an Intensive Programme plus an additional 4 DELF preparation workshops each week.
Students are welcome to begin their studies prior to the DELF programme, so that they have the correct level of French required to join the DELF group.
Business French Course
Same format as the French Intensive Course
Offered in September for 4 weeks, each year
Ideal for CCIP exam students. An intermediate French level is essential
French for Law Course
Same format as the French Intensive Course
Offered in September for 4 weeks, each year
Aimed at those who are already reading Law. An intermediate French level is essential
French Private Tuition Course
1 week+ language course duration
Open to 16+ age group throughout the year
10, 15 or 20 private lessons per week
An extremely intensive French language course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum French language progress over a one or two week period. Aimed at people, for whom time is of the essence.
NB: Accommodation cannot be offered for French Private Tuition students.

Very, very popular period, especially for younger students (50% of the student body will be 15/18 yrs of age). Please book WELL in advance. CESA includes these Cannes programme in our "French & Fun Teenage Courses " for teenagers options as from past experience we know they are not only linguistically successful but highly enjoyable!
Methodology
The college's key concern is to get you to speak French!
The methodology of the courses will cover the four core skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, with plenty of grammar and vocabulary work included in order to develop all the essential French language skills.
