Accommodation in Biarritz
Accommodation is offered in and around the town of Biarritz.
Allow 20 minutes for the one way commute to college.
French hosts / Private households:
French hosts can be booked on a single room, half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) with local hosts.
Shared rooms can be booked (but only if you are going out on the course with a friend).
The French hosts generally accept 1 to 4 students into their home at one time. They provide a light continental breakfast and the evening meal (generally around 8.00pm, but varies from hostess to hostess). Hosts can be single ladies, couples or families (anyone who has a spare room and is willing to host a student/s. Each student will be given a key to the house and is free to come and go as they please, whilst respecting the hostess's house rules.
Biarritz will be very busy in July/August, the private hosts became completely fully booked last year so please book early.
Youth Hostels:
There is a youth hostel in Biarritz, and students are welcome to make their own reservations if they wish to stay here. Please note that the summer months are extremely popular and will become fully booked up (generally by Easter each year).
Hotels:
There are a full range of Hotel options in Biarritz.
However June/early August is high season, and last minute bookings are not an option. Please book a Hotel room by Easter to be sure of a reservation.

We recommend flying direct to Biarritz airport; from there you can take a bus or taxi to your accommodation. Students are welcome to take advantage of the transfer service provided by the college if in host family accommodation.
