Accommodation

Accommodation is offered in and around the town of Biarritz. Allow between 15 and 40 minutes for the one way commute to college. NB: The summer months are VERY popular, demand is high and apartment and Hotel prices go up accordingly! This doesn't affect host accommodation costs though. A daily tax of approx. 0.50 to 0.90 Euros per night/per person applies to all residence apartments and Hotels.

Private households: Can be booked on a single room basis on a half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal) with local hosts. Will be very busy in July/August, the private hosts became completely fully booked last year.

Residential apartments: Various apartment-hotels in and around Biarritz. Students can choose from a range of options on a no meal basis with basic, self catering facilities.
In the price list we have quoted a residence just 25 mins walk from the college, with sea views, a pool and is a few minutes from the city centre (with immediate beach access). The studios are for 2/3 people with kitchenette, bathroom, wc, TV and telephone (no air con) and parking, on request. The price goes up dramatically in the summer months though.

Hotels: There are several very pleasant hotels just minutes from the college or the city centre. Please specify the style of room required.

Travel

Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday PM

We recommend flying direct to Biarritz airport; from there you can take a bus or taxi to your accommodation. Students are welcome to take advantage of the transfer service provided by the college if in host family accommodation.
