French Language School
The French language school in Biarritz offers Standard and Intensive French language courses for students who want to enjoy exploring the French coast whilst improving their French. Private tuition lessons are also offered for students that have specific areas of the language they need to focus on and can be tailored to an individuals needs. For those that want to make the most of the fabulous beaches there is the popular French & Surf course.
The French language school in Biarritz is set on the outskirts of Biarritz, 25 minute walk from the beaches and town centre (just 10 minutes by bike). The language school occupies a large building with the necessary facilities to help you learn the French language. There are 15 classrooms (with air-con). The language school building also has a small student common room, WiFi connection and some computers which will allow you to connect to the Internet for free, and an outdoor terrace where you can chat to friends, after class.
All the teachers are native French speakers and are fully qualified and experienced in teaching French as a foreign language.

Social Activities in Biarritz
Students are encouraged to make the most of their language courses in Biarritz by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the college.
Of course, Biarritz students enjoy the marvellous surfing opportunities offered on the Atlantic seaboard! The college have developed excellent links with a local surf club, so that students can do so, safely and have lessons (if required) in combination with a language programme.
Culturally, there are numerous festivals throughout the year in the typical Basque villages. The closeness to the Spanish border (25 km) will allow you to easily access San Sebastian.
When student numbers make it possible, the French language school proposes a number of activities (tennis, horse riding, wine and cheese tasting, cultural excursions) during which you will have the opportunity to get to know the other French language students.
