Prepare for the four DELF exams (A1, A2, B1 and B2) over four week plus duration programmes. In order to reach a B1 or B2 exam level, beginner/elementary students need to attend a long term programme, ideally of 12 or 16 wks duration.  The college will advise students on which exam to sit, according to their ability level once in France. These four independent DELF qualifications are equal to the old 6 DELF exams. In this way, the candidate can take the exam which best suits their level. A candidate can take more than one exam at the same sitting.  Each qualification is made up of exercises to evaluate general French language competence in four core areas: understanding and expression in both oral and written situations. For students following a shorter 8, 6 or 4 weeks programme, you must follow the Option B or C, DELF programme format (includes 30 lessons per week for final 3 weeks of 4 week sessions, the last week of each session is taken up with the exams themselves).  Students following 12 or 16 week programmes are welcome to attend the Standard programme only (Option A format) but can choose to follow the Option B or C format as well, if they wish to.  NB: the last week of each session is taken up with the exams.
