This French language programme is perfect for anyone wishing to combine in-depth study of French with an exploration of Montpellier and French culture. It provides a solid grounding in core French language skills.
An ideal French language course choice for Gap year students and Graduates looking to enhance their CV’s, develop a new life skill and gain first hand experience of living for several months in France.
French lessons per week: 20

Course Duration: 23 wks or 36 wks
The French Academic Year language course ensures rapid acquisition and long-term retention of key French language skills and also covers a range of topics on modern day France (cultural, social and economic).
Oral and written French language skills are developed and enhanced through out these long term courses. This French language programme is aimed at Beginners to Low Intermediate abilities, who want to see serious linguistic improvement and are aiming to achieve fluency over a number of months.
Classes are then held from Monday to Friday each week. The college is closed for the Christmas and Easter holiday period, however accommodation can be reserved for students (and then has to be paid for) over these periods if applicable to your programme dates. Once you have successfully completed your course you will receive a college certificate attesting to your level of French language proficiency, this will include the duration of course attended.

Please note that accommodation in Montpellier will involve a daily commute. The average commuting time is around 10/25 minutes probably including a short journey on the bus. All the accommodation offered has been inspected by the college. See more details on accommodation.
Important Information
Travel
We recommend students fly to Montpellier's International airport and then if taking host based/private household accommodation take the transfer, alternatively take a bus or taxi into central Montpellier.
Transfers
Only students staying in host based/private household accommodation are offered an arrival transfer (at no extra cost). All other students take a taxi on arrival.

Inclusive in the cost of the course fees.
Christmas Holidays
If French courses extend over Christmas you are welcome to book accommodation at additional cost, otherwise your belongings must be removed from the accommodation.
Holidays
Please note that French lessons lost due to state or religious holidays will not be made up.
