Learn Arabic in Fez
Arabic College Description
Situated in a large Moorish style villa surrounded by an oasis-like setting of date palms, olive trees and rosemary shrubs. Set in a tranquil residential neighbourhood the college is away from the hubbub of the city centre yet is only 15 minutes by foot from the Medina.
Students have access, at a small charge, to the internet and email at the college. There is also a small bar where mint tea and lunches are served. There is a specialist library focusing on Arab North African and Islamic studies and a growing collection of Arabic language DVDs and CDs. The college is at its busiest during the University summer holidays (closed in August). There are 18 classrooms and the staff are always on hand should you have any questions once on your course. The college requires all their teachers to have university degrees from modern state universities, such as the Mohamed V in Rabat and traditional institutions such as the Quarawin University, an Islamic institute of higher learning in Fez and extensive experience teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language.
