Enjoy two weeks of Italian tuition, alongside activities and Italian cookery lessons, in the beautiful town of Sorrento in Southern Italy.

The Italian in Sorrento Christmas programme includes:
~ A two-week Standard Italian course (20 lessons in each week).
~ Half-board accommodation with a host family; a single room with breakfast and evening meal.
~ A guided tour of the churches of Sorrento.
~ An excursion to Naples.
~ 3 Italian Christmas cookery lessons.

Week One
Arrive at your host family's house on Sunday 11th Dec.
Italian tuition (20 lessons), Monday to Friday.
A walking tour of Sorrento, visting:
- the cathedral of Sorrento (the Duomo)
- the church of the Carmine (in the main square of Sorrento)
- the church of Sant'Antonino (the saint protector of Sorrento).
During this guided tour, students will learn more about the history of the churches and the legend of S.Antonino; they will also visit the "presepi" that are in these churches.
Week Two
Italian tuition (20 lessons), Monday to Friday.
An excursion to Naples, with:
- a walking tour of the historical centre of Naples
- a visit to the San Gregorio Armeno
- a break for a pizza lunch (please note: pizza not included in the course price).
The San Gregario Armeno is the street famous for its Neapolitan "figurari", craftsmen who specialise in making the figurines and sets used in the typical Neapolitan Christmas manger scene, the "presepe".
3 Italian cookery lessons focussing on Christmas dishes, followed by dinner / lunch with your host family, on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th Dec.
... as well as plenty of free time to enjoy Christmas in Sorrento, with all the celebrations and events organised in the town!
Depart, after breakfast, on Monday 26th Dec.
