Before I arrived I generally expected the course to be both challenging and fun at the same time, especially considering there was going to be students from all over the world studying at the school. Linguistically I really wasn`t sure what to expect, I assumed it would be hard at first and become easier over the weeks and I hoped I would improve over the three months there. I had been to the school in Madrid before. My expectation was that I would achieve fluency in Spanish at the school, by the time I had completed 20 weeks there. My expectations were met!
The class sizes were small with the average being made up of around 4 students. This meant time could be spent on things individual students found more difficult, plus there were opportuniities for all students to contribute and participate fully. “I hoped I would become more confident in speaking Spanish as I would be completely submersed in the language. I also hoped I would meet lots of new people. I can definitely say that my expectations of the Spanish A level revision course were met. I thought the lessons were very useful, and the atmosphere in the school was friendly and approachable.
