I was lucky enough to be able tos pend two weeks in July in Aix. The school was terrific, their teaching method really effective and my French has definitely benefited. I was suprised as how helpful and interested the teachers were. I loved getting to spend time out of class with the other students and hope that we are able to stay in touch. I hadn’t expected to make so many new friends from across Europe in just 2 weeks!

Two weeks Combined Course in Aix-en-Provence
I’m in my 50′s and wanted a school that wouldn’t be swampled by young adults in the late Spring. I choose Aix because I’d heard it was beautiful and CESA staff assured me that the school were very professional and would provide me with a first class experience. They were quite right.

Learning French at a language school doesn’t sound like the perfect holiday – but for me that’s what it really way. I had a ball for three weeks in the sunshine of Provence. I ate great food, meet lovely people and lived with a divine hostess, who enjoyed sharing her lifestyle and love of French culture with me. Every morning I looked forward to getting up and walking into school. At 33yrs of age that is quite something and completely unexpected! The teachers were very good, even though we had different teachers over the week, the French teaching methods used in the lessons were seamlessly put together and I could feel the work improving the breadth of my vocabulary, my sentence construction, pronunciation and even the grammar skills progressed!
I liked the studio I stayed in too. Small and fairly simple but had everything I needed.

Linguistically I had taken other language courses abroad with CESA from beginner’s level so I had an idea of what to expect, I knew roughly the level of French I could expect to reach after 3 weeks which was simple conversational French.
For me all my expectations were met and I was really happy with the progress I had been helped to make at the school.
